Ashy

Sorrento Valley and Mission Valley socked in with an ashy cloud. Low-lying valleys are pretty bad for the most part.
The temperature has dropped and the humidity has increased slightly- just enough to make things tolerable.
Thankfully the major fires have retreated to more remote areas of the county and out fo the City.

Soul Fire…And we aint got no watahh…

Fires still burnin’. They told us to stay home. No problem there. You think I’m gonna travel TOWARDS the blazing inferno?

#!/bin/sh

Hacked on a CGI web app circa 1995 written entirely in shell scripts.
Actually was pretty clean for being so old and clunky.

Today was the dopey election. As with any election, I was amazed by two things:
1. How 90% of the people I know didn’t vote.
2. How the 10% who did gloated about it.
So in the end, no one cares if you voted or not. Arnold is the new governor. I’ll leave it to […]

Plug It

It’s been a long time since I’ve plugged the homiez, so here we go:
* 2 Plugs this week on Artlung’s blog. Reciprocation is the inspiration for my constipation.
* FTS Sufferer and E-Promulgate Felix Tibs has gone to the dark side and taken on a blog format over at Eyunta.com. Tri-weekly updates are promised.
* I ran […]

The Way

Last couple weeks have been Microsoft™ weeks.
Microsoft™ software is very strange stuff. It’s good stuff, though, definitely good. But strange.
My whole mindset shifts when I’m in Microsoft™ mode. You don’t even think about how you’re gonna do it, you just do it, as long as you remember one thing:
* one handful of […]
