110° at 1PM in the 92115 today.  Needless to say, we hit the beach.

Our furniture is getting delivered today. Apparently they grow the trees before cutting them down and making the furniture, so that’s why it takes so long.

In other news, I work in deep, deep Poway now. I’m surprised they have electricity out here, but they do. Indoor plumbing too! Given the cost of gas these days, I’m paying for the privilege of having a job nowadays.

Apparently the song “Miss New Booty” is emerging as the proverbial ‘feel good hit of the summer’.

In other news, I attended the most ghetto bachelor party of all time. Hosted at scenic 60th and Imperial in Encanto. What’s cool about a ghetto stripper? She’l let you grab her ass!

I turned 30 on Sunday. Woo hoo!

It’s been a whirlwind kiddies.

We closed on the house, and I managed to get through it without having a heart attack. Now I just need to ignore the news articles talking about how real estate in San Diego is 50% overvalued!

We’re slowly moving in this week, doing some painting and cleaning. I still have to remove a nice collection of turds from the dog run in the backyard.

In other news, Corral Lane’s own NYC party poodle, Johnny G is gonna be playing in San Diego! Some Action and DC Snipers at The Tower, Tuesday, March 21. So get up off your duffers and come out to the diviest dive bar in San Diego!
