Banned in the USA
by: Sassy
FuckedCompany reports: In the wake of the attacks on America, Clear Channel, a radio syndicate with almost 2,000 stations nationwide, including ALL of San Diego’s radio, has decided to ban these songs.
Now, as someone who has been subjected to countless hours of Soundgarden, I applaud some of these choices. However, can someone point out the logic in banning Soundgarden, but NOT Alice in Chains? I have a theory:
Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush and Temple of the Dog are all the same band and the same three people. Same thing for Incubus, System of a Down, Slipknot, Staind??, and Godsmack.
Any rock band with a combination of numbers or letters or acronyms in their name must suck (except for the MC5, of course): examples:
311,Local H,Drain STH, STP,3 Doors Down,U2(new),R.E.M.,P.O.D. (but not V.O.D., or D.R.I, or S.O.D., they rocked),Blink 182,Sum 41, etc…
How can they ban Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust”?, but NOT ban the goddamn incessant hyper chattering of the inane DeeJays?
