So I bought a G4 laptop. Yes, I bought a Mac. It doesn’t even seem like a Mac. In some way, to me, it’s a completely different system that has nothing to do with the regular Mac OS.

Mac OS X is amazing. It’s simple, stable, and looks great. I’m running Photoshop and Illustrator on the same machine as PHP,Apache, and Tomcat.

Anyway, here’s some picks for Cocoa apps.

• Okito Composer Lite (Free Word Processor)
• Chimera WWW browser (Moz-based but very stripped UI)
• iCal (Ruling PIM)
• iChat (Cute AIM Client)
• BBEdit Lite (Free Text Editor)
